Visible seams in wrapper with small veins. Even burn and easy draw. Light woody flavor with a dull sweetness. Light pepper aftertaste.

Age/Rest: 86 Days Pre-light: The cigar doesn't look as good as some others, two different wrapper leaves were used so half the stick looks darker than the other. A larger double cap, tight and visible seams. Veins are small but noticeable. The aromas are barnyard meets aged tobacco. A dense pack and a fairly heavy stick. The head was slightly cracked even a punch it still split open. The Toast: A nice even toast for a large cigar it didn't take too long. The Draw: A nice draw for a large stick. The Burn: A solid burn line to start. The ash holds on for a nice solid 1.5 chunk, could have went longer but I knocked it off. The First Third: A pretty straight forward mild to medium stick, aged tobacco, woodiness, nuts and a light earth - on the tongue not at the back of the throat. About 1.5 inches in a sweetness forms. The Second Third: Not much has changed since the first update. The Final Third: The earth doesn't develop into anything more than a slight note on the tongue, the sweetness is hit or miss in the final third. Overall: A surprise in flavours, don't judge a book by it's cover.

Really liked it. Was still pretty firm even though it had been in the humidor for a while, but I'd still smoked well enough.
