Loved it. Received from a sample pack. Slightly smaller in size but a slow burner. Earns my full 5. $90 for 25 sticks at BCP

Age/Rest: 68 Days Pre-Light: Dark chocolate brown wrapper, rough looking, large double cap. Tight seams and visible veins. The foot felt soft but the rest of the cigar was a regular feeling pack. The Toast: The foot toasted easily enough and evenly. The Draw: Seems spot on using x cut with a v cutter. The Burn: Is okay but needs to be watched for touch ups now and again. The cigar needs to be watched as it likes to go out. The First Third: Very spicy out of the gate, almost overwhelming, a long finish of smokey wood. The ash doesn't hold for long, keep an ash tray close. Deep earth hits the back of the throat by mid point in the first. The Second Third: Starts right where the first left off. The foot smoke has the aroma of a campfire. The Final Third: Not much changed other than the earth notes were no longer hitting the back of the throat. Overall: Not bad but not knock your socks off either. Paired well with a Waterloo Original Dark.

Age/Rest: Right off the truck Pre-light: Loads of Woody, earthy dark roast coffee. The cigar is far from perfect in construction, veins and seams are very noticeable. The cigar has a soft velvet - very soft leather feel. The colour is rich and dark. The Toast: The cigar toasted easily, not quick but not long. The Burn: The burn is all over the place, from a terrible internal tunnel to a very uneven burn. After cutting off the internal tunnel I got about a half inch in and another bad internal tunnel. The Draw: The draw was pretty good, not tight or too hard. First Third: Terrible tunnel, two purges and out. Had to cut away almost half the stick. Second Third: Started about half way through the second. Loads of wood, light hints of dark coffee and a slight earthy finish. Virtually no pepper on the finish. The finish not yet smooth and creamy but with some rest it could have a very nice finish. Final Third: Didn't finish the cigar. Another terrible internal tunnel, let the cigar fade out. Overall: The cigar has loads of potential but clearly needs more rest. The little I was able to smoke left a harsh feeling on the back of the throat. Will let rest for 30 days minimum and try again.

Very smokey, with quick burn. Lighter flavor than suspected.
