Age/Rest: 62 days from purchase. Pre-light: Strong tobacco aromas with a slight sweetness. The wrapper is subtle with uniform colouring. The seams are noticeable but no veins. The cigar is not overly packed, creating a soft feel. The Toast: The foot toasted quickly and easily. The Burn: The cigar burned fairly even, no tunneling even with a slightly lose roll. At the start of the final third the cigar needed a relight. The Thirds: Combining this into one as the cigar didn't change very much through the different sections. On the light it was full of lightly aged tobacco, not light or chewy but right in the middle. The finish didn't linger for long. Once the cigar was past the first inch the background flavours made their presence known, at first the tobacco comes through then a pleasant lightly sweet finish with a hint of vanilla. This is how the cigar stays through the majority of the smoke. Near the final third the sweetness fades and it's back to the tobacco smokiness. Overall: Not a bad cheapie stick, especially given that it is a Nicaraguan puro. This is reasonable starter stick or one to hand to some non smoking buddies. It was good with a regular coffee.
