Age/Rest: 434 Days Pre-light: A light caramel colour, a slight roughness to the texture, tight seams, few veins. The aromas are slight sweetness, wood and a touch of barnyard. The Toast: A quick toast with my single torch eagle gun lighter. The Draw: A good draw from the start. The Burn: A solid burn throughout the first and second third. The First Third: The First few puffs, lots of pepper on the finish. From there, a creamy (texture not flavour), sweet nuts and slight mineral taste on the finish. The Second Third: Much of the same, no real changes The Final Third: Again no change. Overall: Wouldn't seek this cigar out, might try again in a sampler but overall the cigar was just okay.

Not a fan. I enjoy other CAO but find this one unpleasant.

Age/Rest: 59 Days. Pre-Light: Good construction, normal pack and good cap. The colour is similar to a caramel tone. The wrapper is soft and subtle. Lots of seams but they tight and well finished. The Toast: Attempted to light with matches, the breeze prevented the toast I was looking for but not bad. The Draw: Good at the start, very slightly on the snug side but still good. The draw loosens a little for a little better experience. The Burn: Keeping a really solid burn line throughout the smoke. Near the band the cigar needed a touch up as it wanted to go out. The First Third: Lots of earth, wood and a little spice on the finish - the spice lingers and collects at the back of the tongue, not overly pleasent at the start. Nearing the end of the first third the spice/almost harshness has started to fade and a smoothness is starting develop. The first ash is hanging on well past the inch mark. The Second Third: The flavours really start to settle down. It's a mild to medium at this point. Becoming almost creamy like in the smoke. The wood notes have a nutty sweetness. The finish isn't overly long but decent. The earthy flavours are at the start of the draw but not powerful. Turning into a decent smoke to just enjoy without a lot of complexity. The ash is hanging on again for another inch or more at a time. The Final Third: The flavours continue to mellow. All flavours are still present but are softer and creamier. There was a slight crack in the wrapper under the band. As the final third gets to the halfway point there is a slight buttery note that pops up. Overall: The cigar started off with a sub par performance but as it warmed up it got better. I'd buy this again in a sampler or 5 pack. A good cigar to smoke while having fun in the sun with friends family with our without a beer.
