    Best smoke after a brunch.

Pre-light: The wrapper is a nice colour but not yet fully aged, toothy in parts and some minor flaws but otherwise decent condition. The aroma is strong but pleasant. The cut is not razor sharp but was better for the draw compared to the previous stick that was punched. The draw: The draw was easy from the start, opting for a cut over a punch. The initial draw was a little harsh almost unexpectedly, after a purge the harshness seemed to mellow. Throughout the smoke the draw was slightly tight but never difficult. The burn: Fairly consistent throughout the smoke, never razor sharp and only once with a slight canoe which self corrected fairly quick. First third: Lots of cedar, peppery and spice, almost harsh at times, maybe due to the immature aging. The draw was easy and the burn was clean although not razor sharp. Second third: The pepper and cedar was still present but gave way to a nutty finish and at times a slight creamy finish. The burn stayed the course, not razor sharp but fairly even. Final third: The flavors continued to develop, becoming smoother, more nut flavors are present with a very slight hint of dark chocolate to add to the creaminess. Overall: The cigar really comes into its own during the burn, becoming pleasant and flavourful. This was a much experience compared to the first time I smoked this cigar. I would consider this cigar again knowing it needs time to rest and even put some age in it (1 - 2 years).

A simple smoke, neither bland nor complex. This one I experienced very mild pleasant flavors throughout and gained flavor as the cigar smoked. Because the flavors are simple and mild this cigar can pair with almost any drink. This would be a good smoke to offer for friends who occasionally smoke. While not the cheapest starter smoke it has a good value and a place in the humidor. 2.8 rating.
