Carlos Fuente Jr. created the VSG series exclusively for Ashton. The complex finish and rich flavors are derived from tobaccos exclusively grown and primed for this cigar series. Dominican tobacco is aged for 4 to 5 years prior to being blended and the leaves used for the wrapper are allowed to mature slowly thus absorbing cloud-filtered sunlight resulting in a rich multifaceted flavor. The VSG series are among the most highly sought after cigars in the world.

perhaps I needed to size down...the flavor was delicious, but I never reached it until the second half of the stick. it was rolled very tightly. I'd like to revisit in a robusto.
