Lancero Prelight raisins with something heavy, wood or leather? First third pepper bomb, lips burning, bready, Second third bread and coffee, spice maintaining, morphing into chocolate at the end Last third: tough to keep lit, spice returns with stronger chocolate flavor, slight nuttiness

I had to finally move these up to 5 stars. Hands down my favorite cigar is the Casita Criolla, after having quite a few. If I wasn't so into the adventure of trying out new cigars all the time, I would just buy boxes of these with no regrets. Perfectly rustic construction. Beautiful earthy taste from tip to nub. One thing to watch out for: It's easy to smoke these a bit too fast, compromising the experience. Set it down between puffs, wait until it's just barely smoking anymore, and then give it another puff. Even though these are relatively narrow gauged cigars, they can provide more than an hour of cool, thick satisfying smoke.

These dammed Tatuaje cigars always seem to deliver. I want to not like this one because I can't afford to buy too many too often. The one bad thing: it smoked a lot faster than I wanted or expected. This is something like 6 x 45,and it lasted less than an hour despite every attempt to make it last longer. The good: Pure nice flavor the whole way. It has a nice natural sweetness that doesn't detract from the richness. Nice even burn and smooth draw as expected from Tatuaje.
