Pre-light: Very strong aroma of dark chocolate and slight nuances of dark roast coffee. The toast & light: The cigar took patience to light and the toasting took longer than others. The Draw: Lots of dark chocolate, dark roast coffee and a slight spice. The First third: The cigar burned a little on the quick side but was even on the burn but not razor sharp. The flavors were very strong on the dark chocolate, nuances of dark roast coffee and slight spice on the finish. The cigar although medium to full bodied is very smooth and never harsh. The Second third: The cigar continued to build flavours, more dark chocolate but more balanced with the dark roast coffee and the spice is mild on the finish. Also to note the burn slowed a little but still a clean burn line but not razor sharp. The smoothness remains, making for an easy smoke. The Final third: Dark roast coffee is the more present flavour with plenty of dark chocolate, the mild spice is fading but still present. The smoke still very smooth. Overall: The cigar starts very strong on the flavour profile but seems to calm as the smoke burns. Paired this with a light lager from Bayside Brewery, will try another with a coffee. Overall a surprisingly pleasant smoke for my first medium - full bodied cigar. Total smoke time 50 minutes - 65 minutes.

I really liked it. Seemed to have been well aged at the place of purchase. Had that deep, dark taste that I like in maduros. Smoked real well, nice and even until it was nearly gone.

CAO "red label" avec cellophane jauni en magasin. full body mais medium straight. saveurs de chocolat aux cerises et de cafe vanille. draw difficile au début mais excellent dès le deuxième tiers. ne s' éteint pas tout seul. a refaire.
