A global sensation. Even though it took Alec Bradley almost five years to complete Mundial, it was well worth every hard-earned day. This blend hung out on the back burner for years, making way for hits such as Prensado, Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year in 2011. As for Mundial, the timing was never just right....Until now. Make way for this incredibly special blend, featuring a careful mix of four distinct fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras with a generous amount of ligero and two binders – one Honduran, one Nicaraguan. The wrapper leaf is a thing of beauty, a stunner from the Trojes region of Honduras. Besides just the blend, the shape of this handmade is a real standout, with all sizes being rolled in the perfecto shape. All in all, Mundial is worth the wait, and it showed up right on time. Alec Bradley Mundial has been awarded with an impressive 92-rating, noting: "Full of meaty, rich intonations, this cigar also imparts a pleasant minerality before a spicy, leathery finish. It’s well rolled with a pointed foot and dark wrapper."

Age/Rest: 108 Days Pre-light: Strong barn aromas with a slight sweetness. A darker wrapper, slightly toothy, seams visible and small veins. A decent size triple cap and a slightly firm pack. The Toast: A quick toast given the narrow foot of the perfecto shape. The Burn: Slightly wavy burn at the start, not needing a touch up though. Fairly good burn line throughout the cigar The Draw: At the start the draw is fairly easy, generating loads of smoke. The draw went from easy to normal once out of the perfecto tip. The First Third: Quick draws at the start as ample smoke is funneled into the body of the cigar. Loads of flavours dance on the tongue. A strong meaty flavour is present, woodiness and a slight spice on the finish. The smoke is medium, it's not wispy nor heavy. There is an earthy flavour that does hit the back of the tongue. At the start the flavours had a slight harshness but not overwhelming. The Second Third: During the transition to the second the flavours have mellowed a little but all still present. Ash in a nice solid chunk. The finish is much smoother compared to earlier. The burn rate is picking up now. The Final Third: The flavours continue to mellow and become smoother. Still creating loads of flavourful smoke. The more this cigar smokes the better it's getting. It paired nicely with an A&W Rootbeer. Overall: I'd consider this smoke in a fiver or a sampler, not sure about a full box unless the price was really good. With 6 months to a year of rest these could be better than this one.

Draw started off extremely tight but filial loosened up. Burned uneven at one point pretty good flavor though.

1st hash I didn't like . 2nd evolving better . 3 half beautiful creamy full body sweet tobacco leathery spices well balance ,not like the 1st half

Vitole magnifique avec ses formes non conventionnelles. Une combustion parfaite. Une bonne tenue tout au long de la dégustation. Cigare relativement puissant mais une grande finesse des arômes (poivre, bois). Cigare fantastique.
