The Garcias have cigar making down to a science. Their My Father Connecticut takes hand-picked Nicaraguan Corojo ‘99 binders and Nicaraguan Habano-Criollo fillers from their own farms and matches it with a smooth Ecuadorian CT wrapper. Another day, another Garcia masterpiece to try.

Rachel is in Dawson and the kids are asleep. Smoked by myself, first smoke in a while not attached to anyone's death. Smoked with a cup of coffee. Mild, not great first third, no spice.

I really didn't like it. It required too much attention to keep lit and was FAR too spicy for my taste. The scotch I was drinking was the only thing that made it tolerable to me.
