Age/Rest: 105 Days. Pre-Light: A heavy cigar due to it's size. A soft corner box press. A wonderful dark wrapper, tight visible seams, small minimal veins. Aromas of dirty barn but not overpowering. The Toast: Because of its size the toasting took a while but it did fire up evenly. The Draw: Actually a very good draw, if anything a little on the snug side. The Burn: The burn is okay but needed to be touched up early on. The First Third: Loads of flavours but a little blended. Notes of cocoa, nuts, spice, wood, and earth. The smoke is thick and chewy. The Second Third: Flavours are the same, not much change. The cigar developed a nasty crack that grew with each puff. I cut 1.5 inches of to clear the fault. The Final Third: Much of the same at the start but near the last half of the final third, the flavours became muddy as the heat became an issue. Overall: Not bad for the size. if try this again in a smaller size.
