Profitant d'un bel après midi ensoleillé, je déguste à nouveau ce joli cigare, après avoir testé le reste de la gamme. Sans équivoque, celui-ci est mon préféré de part sa palette aromatique équilibrée et onctueuse. Ce modèle est à l'identique du précédent. Une cape épaisse et grasse, dont la combustion sera parfaite. Un tirage sans reproche et une cendre blanche compacte. Le volume de fumée est généreux et très agréable en bouche. Les arômes sont suaves avec des notes animales et végétales. Un vrai régal. Dès que je recroise sa route, j'en caverai quelques-uns.

Début sur des notes boisées, puis du chocolat noir, de très légères notes de cuir. Le troisième tiers gagne en puissance mais très relative, le cigare reste onctueux presque cremeux. 90 mn agréables à renouveler.

Excellente surprise cigaristique que ce Amazon Basin, Non seulement par son très joli aspect visuel exotique, mais aussi par cet équilibre parfait entre onctuosité et rondeur. La fumée est très abondante et onctueuse. La combustion est parfaite malgré une belle cape épaisse et grasse. Un véritable régal avec une palette aromatique qui change des standards habituels, mais tellement bon. Seul reproche que l'on peut faire est la linéarité des saveurs du deuxième et troisième tiers. Il faut vite que j'en cave car la production de cette vitole est épisodique.

Bitter, put it out halfway into it...couldn't wait to get the taste out of my mouth. As far as my palette is concerned, this is the worst tasting cigar I've had in recent memory.
