I didn't expect a lot from this short boy, the Série D no. 5 left me with a bad feeling... But this was really good! Typical Partagas blend, perfect for a short 25-30min pause in your day. Glad I tried it, nice smoke!

Typical RyJ taste, not very characteristic. Had to re-light it twice, even though the puffs were linear. Just standard

I had high expectations for this cigar. The manufacture is perfect. As I lighted it up I thought... "Damn what the hell is this?!" So bitter and dull. Well, I couldn't be more wrong... The cigar is smooth, and acquires an ongoing taste, especially through the second third. At first it tastes like earth, then a whole world of aromas come in. Black pepper, aged wood, hazelut, coffee, he'll I'd swear I felt a tone of honey in the smoke. Half way all the ash is still there, extremely compact...Ouch it felt ;) maybe a bit uneven in the burning. The third third just adds more character to the cigar, no negative notes. How to describe it in one word? Majestic, try it!!

Fruity and easy smoke. I'm starting to like this brand, definitely a good runaway from the puros. Could use a little more character though. Regular burning and very compact ash.

A full bodied cigar, suggested as an after dinner. Non extremely satisfying but not a bad smoke. The strength rises to the end, I felt that the best part was the second third. Aromas of aged wood, chocolate, leather. The last third was mildly bitter, I preferred to stop the smoke a little earlier. The cigar required a few corrections but nothing serious. My first Partagas, but I will definitively try some more.

A pleasant smoke! Before lighting it the flavor is very manly, wood, earth and leather are very present. Once you light it these notes are enhanced even more. The first third is mild, not very satisfactory. The second third was the best one for me, notes of coffee and just a slightly sweet pitch. The third third is very strong, maybe too much through the end. It becomes bitter in the end, so throw it once you feel the bad taste. Linear burning with no corrections required, the strength is progressive, the ash is very compact.
