Started at : 14:45 Finished at: 15:45 Pairing with: nothing Strength: 1/3: Average 2/3: Average 3/3: average-strong Flavours: 1/3: woody, coffee, cream, leather 2/3: liquorice, cream, nutty 3/3: cream, nutty, liquorice Real easy light up and draw, very good construction and effortless smoking. Coffee undertones with cream dominant on the palate. Starts getting sour a but towards the end of 1/3. Doesn't clog up and tighten like most Partagas. 2/3 changes into more sour tones, yet still creamy, as the oils keep building up which is pleasant. This could be best paired with a light creamy drink, like a white Russian with cream. Towards the end of the 2/3, the build up is getting strong! Can't smoke as quick as 1/3, but still a pleasurable aftertaste. 3/3 maintains the tastes from 2/3, but more sour. Best to take short and gentle draws. Smoked until the band, which was bit more than enough as this is a medium strength cigar.

Age/Rest: 76 Days. Pre-light: Noticeable seams and veins, certainly not the nicest Monte I've seen. A fairly firm pack, a nice caramel colour with a triple cap a little on the small side. A touch of woods, sweet nuts and hay on the cold aromas. The Toast: The toast was a little longer than I'd expect with a corona size cigar, but a nice even toast. The Draw: A firm draw but still pulling plenty of smoke and flavour. The Burn: A solid burn to start, continuing throughout the cigar. The First Third: A nice sweet aged tobacco, hay and nuts. At times almost tasting like cookie batter. The Second Third: A very smooth almost creamy smoke, a little less sweet but similar flavours with a touch of floral. The Final Third: Taking on more wood and nut as the cigar finishes down, still smooth and enjoyable. Every so often a little sweetness peaks through. Overall: This cigar didn't look the best but it was an enjoyable mild smoke to start the day, nice subtle flavours and smooth. Would buy for myself and let rest for a while.

Fumé parce que tâches blanches suspectes. Tirage aérien. Moins arômatique que le Diplomaticos N°3. Piquant à l'allumage.

This cigar is a masterpiece. Smooth and balanced aroma, the taste is lightly sweet. A very pleasurable experience. Definitely favorite.
